Cloth, 8vo - over 7? - 9? tall. rare title, cloth rubbed back at corner tips and small holes to joints, spine sunned with some fading onto edges of boards, endpapers toned, pen name to half title, tiny short tear to lower margin of half title, final text page has 'Complimentary Copy, Not For Sale' punched into the page, upper board has spitfire design, both are lightly soiled and marked, internally clean and tight, suitable for a custom binding for your aviation library, 236pp + plates, published in 1939 so before things 'hotted up' over Britain, but still has accounts of aerial combat, as well as day to day training etc. Good/No Jacket.
