Adamson also of Madras College (see Robert Armstrong), living at 2 Howard Place, St Andrews, dated 1879, has practised his attractive copperplate inscription in a youthful hand a number of times on the endpapers. An unusual edition. Not in COPAC in this format. The 'Introduction to English Etymology' was first published in 1858.
