Josef Maria Auchentaller (1865 - 1949) was an Austrian painter, draftsman, and printmaker associated with the Vienna Secession and the Art Nouveau style. Auchentaller was a contributor to the magazine Ver Sacrum, a Secessionist publication, and sat on its editorial board between 1900- 1901. His circle of Viennese artists and designers included Otto Wagner. Hundreds of color illustrations of his paintings, drawings, lithographs and jewellery. Essays by Roberto Festi, Markus Neuwirth, Silvia Spada Pintarelli, Raffaella Sgubin, Eugenio Manzato and Alberto Luchitta. Bibliography. 12" high X 10" wide, 238 pages.
