An agreeable account of the visit of the three Buxton daughters to Egypt with their father, Edward North Buxton. The eldest daughter, Hannah, was to become the great grandmother of the singer James Blunt. The boards are much marked, worn all about. There is residue and much scuffing. The faces are elegant, handsome. They have mild scuffing, marks from age and shelving. They are healthy, steady, sound. The contents are most gratifying. All plates and map present. The pages have marks appropriate to sanguine aging. They are however, mild-mannered, benevolent, clean, clear, tight, hale and sure, assured and amenable. A comfortable, contented copy. fk. They are much worn, knocked about, marked, scuffed, stained from storage, all about. The titling and decorations etc are worn, resigned but resolute. The boards are still steady and placid. The contents also bear much evidence of contented, even avid use throughout. Whilst the years rest languidly, the pages have wear, age-related marks. Nonetheless, the pages are fraternal, clear, clean(ish), certain, competent, convivial, able, amenable, still useful for resource and reading. fk. Fair/No Jacket.
