The King and his family paid an historic, very lengthy tour of Southern Africa - mainly the Union - in the summer of 1947. This book lays out their itinerary with 'potted' histories of each stop. The plain cover is marked, worn and a little torn. The dj front cover has small puncture marks and doodling marks thereabout. The dj back cover has a long closed tear to the flap seam. The spine is sunned with open and closed tears to the head, foot and body. The smart red cover has indentations to both front and bottom edges. The cover is shiny. Inside, the contents are clean, sturdy, clear, complete and welcoming. fk. Good/Poor.
