This is a copy of the much loved and treasured "Layfolk's Ritual" which was produced to provide for the needs and requirements of the increasing involvement of Laypeople in the administration of the Holy Sacrament. In pre-Vatican II days this ritual was used extensively by both Clergy and layfolk. The introduction is from the much loved and regarded Abbot of St Michael's Abbey, Farnborough, the Rt Rev. Abbot Fernand Cabrol OSB (a well known historian of the Church). This edition is pocket sized for easy reference and use during prayer and service. Soft leather cover, marbled front and end papers. Much used and carefully owned. The guttering along the front and end pages are open but the security of the pages and the contents is not compromised. This edition has been described as splendid and it is. The pages are involving, neat, tidy, clean, clear, assured and calm. The front page has a gift dedication (dated 9. 2. 1931). fk.
