KIRKWOOD, JAMES
Good Times, Bad Times
Andre Deutsch. 1969, 1st Edition. (ISBN: 0233956050). Hardcover, with dust jacket. 348 pages. James Kirkwood's second novel is marked by its matter-of-fact, even if now quaint, handling of homosexuality. The book is infused rather than steeped with the actuality of the narrator's sexuality. Kirkwood later won a Pulitzer for his Broadway hit, "A Chorus Line". The dustjacket of this book has some wear to the extremities. There are very general handling and ownership markings on the front and back covers. The corners have mild shelf wear. The plum coloured cloth cover is strong and resolute. The front and back covers have small markings. The spine has shelf pulls. The frontispage has a previous owner inscription. The contents are clean, clear, youthful, very healthy and fast to the spine. fk. Good/Good.

LEWIS, C. S.
Till We Have Faces
Geoffrey Bles, London. 1956, 1st Edition. Hardcover, with dust jacket. 320 pages (complete). First edition of C S Lewis's last novel. He, and others, considered it his finest.
