STATHAM, F REGINALD
Blacks, Boers & British : A Three-Cornered Problem
Macmillan and Co. Limited, London. 1881, First Edition. Hardcover, with dust jacket. 271 pages (complete). A benign copy of this appeal, from the anti-imperialist journalist and editor, Statham to the British attitude for an all inclusive solution to the South African 'problem'. The boards are scruffy. They have marks, wear, stains, scuffing all about. The spine is much worn about to the seams, head and foot. It is however, fit and sure. The boards are resolutely secure and steady. The contents are placid. They bear age-related marks, some shallow pools of foxing. Nonetheless, they are assured, clean and clear, certain, bold, competent. fk. Good/No Jacket.
