From the library of Frank Bradlow (the Africana specialist and collector) whose ex-libris plate is affixed to the front pastedown. The frontispage is signed by 10 member of the South African forces who were at Alamein (from 9th Queen's Royal Lancers/ 2nd Btn Imperial Light Horse) to 3rd Recce to WAAS etc). The dustjacket is grubby with wear, scuffing and marks. It is intact and sure. The boards have storage wear and marks about the edges. They are otherwise steady and comfortable. The papertrims are foxed. Whilst the early and later pages are foxed, the contents are overwhelmingly clean, clear, orderly, tidy, bold, assured, tight and convivial. fk.
