A few have a previous owner stamp (George Wynne). Included: 4 copies of 'The Selective Voet - Index Volume - Corrigenda'; 4 copies of publisher's advertising blad for another edition (six volumes plus index); 'Ninth Cummulative Supplement', Butterworths, 1981, ISBN: 0409008141 (a little worn with front cover missing). All have some localised shelving marks on the trims. The spines for Vols I-III have been lightly sunned. Volume I [Books I-IV]: the boards have scuffing and wear about the edges and corners from shelving and storage. They are steady and secure. Some very occasional annotations. Otherwise, the contents are very confident, clean and clear, authoritative. Volume II [V-XII]. This volume not signed by Gane. It does have the 'Wynne' stamp. The boards are scuffed, marked, worn by handling, shelving and storage. They are stern, secure, steady. The contents are a little waved from storage conditions. There is very general and very, very light evidence of use. The pages are clean, clear, placid, very assured. Volume III [Books XIII-XXII], published 1956. Not stamped by Wynne. The boards have some shelving wear about the edges and corners. They are tidy and tight. The contents are most pleasing. They do have very, very occasional annotations. Otherwise, the pages are very clean and clear, healthy, smart. Volume IV [XXIII-XXVII]. The boards have shelving, storage scuffing and marks, some shelving wear to the edges and corners. They are otherwise hale and sound. The contents are most agreeable. They are fresh, clean, clear, unblemished by the judgement of age, secure. Volume V [Books XXIX-XXXVIII]: the boards have shallow scuffing and light wear about the edges and corners from shelving. They are tidy and assured. The contents are smart. They have very occasional annotations. They are also very clean and clear and fresh and confident, as if almost new! Volume VI [Books XXXIX-XLV], pub 1957. The boards are firm, sure with only shallow scuffing and very light shelving wear to the edges. They are sound and sure. The contents have some few annotations. They are otherwise tidy, neat, very clean and clear, confident and dutiful. Volume VII [Books XLVI-L]. A comfortable copy. The boards are steady with only very light wear about the edges and some very light scuffing. They are steady and assured. The contents have some evidence of use throughout. The pages have very few annotations Otherwise, they are clean and clear, conscientious, dutiful, certain, confident. Volume VIII: "Table of Cases - Consolidated Index", pub 1958. Signed by Gane. The boards are steady, strong and sturdy. They have light shelving wear to the corners and edges, some scuffing. The contents are annotated throughout (very neatly).
