Previous owner stamp for Richard Primos, the renowned Cape Town plant collector (who is honoured by Vanheerdea primosii, Ruschia primosii, Titanopsis primosii, the former taxa Conophytum primosii (now C. roodiae) and Meyerophytum primosii (now Dicrocaulon microstigma), and possibly also for Cannomois primosii). The boards have blind stamped decoration, stamped gilt titling (benign). The boards have wear, fading, storage stains. They are also very, very slightly convex from storage. The boards and spine (burnished and darkened by hand and shelving) are sure, secure. The frontis and end papers have some foxing. The papertrims are speckled with foxing. The contents have mild evidence of age and use. However, overwhelmingly the contents are smart and agreeable. The pages are very clean and clear, bright, detailed, dedicated, confident, certain, keen, decent. fk. Very Good/No Jacket.
