Early Nineteenth Century Architecture in South Africa : A Study of the Interaction of Two Cultures 1795-1837
A A Balkema, Cape Town. 1963, First Edition. Hardcover, with dust jacket. 451 pages (complete). A benign copy. The dustjacket has wear, creasing, marks and scuffing from handling, shelving and storage. It is comfortable and secure. The boards are elegant. They do have some light shelving marks and wear to the edges and corners. They are sturdy, sound, healthy. The contents are mild-mannered. The papertrims have some sunning, some foxing. This often intrudes on to the page edges - but timidly so. The pages also have occasional user wear about the corners. The pages are clean, clear, benevolent, conscientious, proud, even affectionate. Please note that due to the weight of the book, should the book need be posted outside of South Africa, extra postage charges may be required. fk. Good/Fair.
