Two complete ex college library volumes in hessian binding with red gilt titled label to spine. Boards of both volumes worn and rubbed but still very secure. Book plate on front paste downs. Both volumes all edges gilt. Vol I - xlvii, 768 pp, 2 illuminated title pages, 33 brightly coloured CHROMOLITHOGRAPHS and 65 text cuts. Vol II - xiv, 733 pp, illuminated title page, 39 brightly coloured CHROMOLITHOGRAPHS and 51 text cuts. Some very light tanning to contents with slightly heavier foxing affecting about 20 pages of vol II otherwise it is very light and sporadic. There is some faint offsetting onto plate guards and some light thumb marks but overall the copies are in very good condition. Quantity Available: 1.
