Full-page & textual illustrations in black & white after wood engravings by various artists. The top edges of the pastedowns are slightly bubbled & there is very light rippling to the top edges of the pages. A small label is affixed to the top corner of the front pastedown. Very good in a fair dust wrapper.

Circa [1988]. [1988]. SIGNED LIMITED COLOR SERIGRAPH BY THE MAINE ARTIST MARTHA JANE BRADFORD - A 30-1/2 inch high by 44 inch wide color serigraph illustrating a beautiful Maine landscape. The image depicts a pond surrounded by colorful shrubs and trees with a mountain range in the background. "AM Editions" is stamped in blind at lower left. "Selling Sample" is faintly penned in purple grease pencil. The serigraph is signed in full by Martha Jane Bradford in pencil at right below the image with "Edition 250" and "26 colors" penciled under the image at left. Two faintly drawn "X"s are penciled at the bottom of the image. There are several very short tears in the margins that could be matted out. The verso is slightly soiled. A beautiful signed color serigraph by the Maine artist Martha Jane Bradford. The Maine artist Martha Jane Bradford (1946-2018) studied at Holyoke College and Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. Her work was featured in several solo and group exhibitions and can be found in the permanent collections of the Boston Public Library, the DeDordova Museum and the Fogg Art Museum. Very good .

Victor Victoria Bicycles: Overman Wheel Co. " a Vintage Art Nouveau Advertising Page Designed and Illustrated by Will Bradley for the February 20, 1896 Issue of the Youth's Companion.
The Youth's Companion 1896. 1896. - A 16-1/4 inch high by 11-1/4 inch wide pictorial advertisement for Victoria Bicycles illustrated and designed by Will Bradley. A dreamy 14 inch high by 9 inch wide Art Nouveau illustration printed in blue on a gray background depicts a woman, draped in a flowing gown, standing with a bicycle next to tall flowers and trees within a floral frame. "Victor" and "Victoria" are printed within the floral borders at right and left of the image with "Bicycles / Overman Wheel Co. / Boston, New York, Detroit, Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland Ore." framing the top and bottom. This rare advertisement by Will Bradley was published on page "iv" of Volume VII, No. 8 of "The Youth's Companion", dated February 20, 1896. Several black & white pictorial ads decorate the verso (page "iii" of the periodical). A couple of short tears near the corners of the top edge are repaired with clear archival document tape from the verso. The edges of the print are slightly darkened from having once been framed. The corners are lightly creased. 34 leaves, each printed on one side only, including a list of artists printed as a title page on creamy fine speckled paper and 33 full-page color illustrations and designs by graphic artists and illustrators printed on glossy stock. An additional 5 full-page color plates are housed in a pocket at the rear with Jeffrey Leff's business card housed in a smaller pocket. There is a minor crease to the top corners of the 5 plates housed in the pocket. Very good. RARE. The artists represented in this work are Joe Fleming, Fred Hilliard, Francis Livingston, Rob Roth, Michele Manning, Neil Brennan, Rik Olson, Sue Rother, Charles Gehm, Denise Crawford, Terry Hoff, Brian Callanan, Alan Mazzetti, Richard High, Leonard Morgan, Ron Broda, Kelly Maddox, Franco Accornero, Mary Thelen, Lingta Kung, Alex Boies, and John Sayles, all of whom are listed on the first page. Works by Gwen Connelly, HB Lewis, and Lewis Pippo are included within the pocket at the rear. These artists were not listed at the front. Another print, this one printed on heavy stock, is unidentified. The image beautifully depicts a black man in a tan jacket, standing in the light from a window in a bare loft, gently gesturing to a cat who lies at his feet. Very good .
