Card covers in red, green and black Art Deco design, with a bottle of Worthington in the mouth of a classical comedy mask. No date, but judging by the film titles, early 1930s, maybe 1934. Loosely inserted are a note from Worthington's, trusting the booklet will interest and amuse, and newspaper clippings from 1934 - 1939, comprising another cartoon in the series; a Daily Express cartoon from 1934, showing the god Mars appalled by an exhibition of War Pictures; a picture of a shepherd observing the silence on Armistice Day, and a clipping from the News Chronicle, November 1939 of cartoons from German papers. Spine is worn; some corner creasing to covers; one or two small internal marks; overall a good copy of an uncommon item. Good/No Jacket.
