Sometimes these two pages are included in the page of contents. The 199 plates/plans/views mentioned are the actual number (not counting the title pages or pages with contents). The first plate (folding plate of France) of the first part is bound prior to the title page. Plate with a view of Paris is also folding. Reverse sides of plans/maps/views blank. Small hole in tite page affecting first letter of author's name. Some dog-ears (folded corners). On title page printer's device with the text Haec Libertatis ergo.
