Marbled endpapers and foredge. Armorial bookplate of Monkhouse Tate. Vignette illustration to the title page. A vignette including a man flying a kite to the second title page on p155. Internally clean and complete. Includes a poem on the coronation of George III, and several with Bath connections. The author was a clergyman and friend of William Shenstone and Ralph Allen, and was tutor to the young Malthus, and a successful novelist... Good.
