Neatly recased at some time, with neat repairs to head & tail of spine, new eendpapers, in the original blind-stamped cloth, gilt lettered 'Horrox's Memoirs'. DNB: 'When Curate of Hoole, Horrocks predicted and observed the transit of Venus across the sun 24 Nov 1639'. Very scarce astronomy. Very Good.
