The cover sheets are rubbed with some light creasing to the top & bottom edges. The rear cover sheet is unevenly faded with some small pieces of paper adhering to its lower half. Unnumbered pages printed on variously colored stocks. Profuse textual illustrations, charts & diagrams. The stamp of the Institute of Forestry Project is on the contents page. The last leaf is lightly creased with some small stains. Very good.

A series of workshops was held from April 16 to 25, 1992 for the purpose of producing this information kit. The workshops were titled Regenerative Agriculture in the Hills of Nepal, Cropping Systems and Post-Harvest Technologies, Vegetable and Fruit Production, Natural Resources and Their Enhancement, Livestock and Fodder, Soil Fertility Composting and Manuring, and Pest Management.

The tape is split along the rear joint with a large piece out at the tail of the spine, & the lower third of the front wrap is detached. 169 pages. Some bottom page corners are creased & the bottom corner of the last leaf is darkened & chipped. Illustrated with a black-and-white plate depicting the proposed monument. Ex-library with the remnants of a library label on the rear wrap and a numeral & "discarded" stamp on the verso of the title. Good.

Among the contents of this report on the celebration of the Centennial Anniversary of the surrender of Lord Cornwallis to American and French forces at Yorktown are a Centennial Ode by Paul H. Hayne of South Carolina, remarks by John W. Johnston, and a number of orations, including one by Robert C. Winthrop of Boston recounting the events surrounding the surrender. Good .

The top and front edges of the pages are darkened and there is dampstaining along the inner edges of the pages.

A child's blue & gray graphite scribbles have been partially erased from the front blank. The front hinge is cracked and the front endpaper is lacking. There is foxing throughout and several page corners corners are creased with occasional tiny tears to the edges. Fair. First American edition of Harvey and Darton's "New Edition" which was originally published in London in 1845. RARE. Fair .

Dark tan cloth with the Japanese calligraphic title in gilt on the spine and a decoration in blind on the cover. The collation is as follows: a tipped-in 17 page English booklet, Japanese title followed by [4] pages, 128 pages of black & white and color illustrations, [1] blank, pages 147-310, pages 1-4 & [1] leaf with most of the text printed and bound from right to left. Additionally there are profuse textual illustrations. A red & green chop mark is tipped-in at the top of the copyright/colophon page. There is a short tear to the front edges of a very pages, not affecting the images. There is some light creasing. Deacquisitioned by "The Museum of Primitive Art Library" with their "canceled" embossed blind stamp on both the Japanese title page and the title page of the English booklet. Very good.

Volume 1 only of a 16 volume work. Complete in itself.

The text is printed in Japanese calligraphy with a 17 page English translation of the description of the plates, with it's own title page, tipped-in. Very good .
