Paris , 1876. . Started in l860 La Mode Illustree was the most successful and comprehensive continuous week by week recod of ladies and childrens clothes through the period. Each annual volume comprised the 52 weekly issues, each of l6 pages. About half of each issue was comprised of engravings. These covered every aspect of ladies and childrens dress - morning, afternoon and evening. In addition there were innumerable ideas for details, sleeves, collars, hats, hair-styles and suggestion for needlework and other ladies amusements. This volume of 428pp Clean sound condition in a card binding (additional postage will be needed for this heavy book).
