Portrait of Catharina Charlotte of Bavaria-Zweibrücken (1615-1651), bust turned to the left with her face looking to the front, within an inscribed oval. Also known as Katharina Charlotte von Pfalz-Zweibrücken (* 11. Januar 1615 in Zweibrücken; † 21. März 1651 in Düsseldorf).Signed at bottom: Johannes Spilbergius / T. Matham sculpsit. Inscribed around the oval: 'Timordomini omnium rerum primum.'The original painting dates 1648 and is today held at the Stadtmuseum Düsseldorf. Engraving on paper, with very small margins; total: 425 x 304 mm; state II/3;  some rubbing due to handling, otherwise in very good condition. Hollstein 77.

Portrait of Wolfert van Brederode (1649-1679), bust in oval wearing armour. Lord of Cloetingen, Haeftyen and Herwijnen he is portrayed at a young age. Bottom left a hand with a sword surrounded by flames and bottom right the head of a boar.Signed at bottom: Mijtens del. / Hanc ipssius Effigiem quam sculpsit, qua par est animi observantia D.D.D. T. Matham.On the bottom right are the initials: L.C. (unknown origin and reference).[NL] Wolfert van Brederode (Den Haag, 18 november 1649 - Vianen, 15 juni 1679) was heer van Brederode, Vianen, Noordeloos, Zwammerdam en Reeuwijk. Hij was de laatste mannelijke heer van Brederode.
