London, 1 Mitre Court, Fleet Street, 1909 Presumed 1st Ed., published by the author, Hard cover light blue cloth bds, Good, bds a little bowed, attractive decoration of picture of a skier to upper bd in black and white on the blue background, titles in blue edged with black to upper bd, faded black titles to spine, cloth fading in places partic. at spine, and a bit darkened at edges, light age-greying to picture in places, cloth indented with closed tear in centre of spine, approx. half an inch, shallow 'v' shaped mark in cloth near top of spine, spine ends bumped, top pge edge block a bit dusty, contents nice, bright and tight with 143 text illustrations and 20 art plates, one v. neat pencil drawing of a boot opp. pge 68 on a plate verso, faint boot drawing to rear pastedown also in pencil, strapped to a ski, v. small scuff to the edge of pges 16-22, pp241 + pp xvi adverts at rear, no inscriptions, names etc...
