The society was officially formed in London in October 1926.This is a highly informative work on the art of angling, giving the reader advice on how to fish, as well as how to handle various different aquatic species. Contents include an introduction by the editor, two prefaces, and chapters like 'The Origin of Angling', 'Nottingham Angling', 'The Bream', and 'Varieties of Trout&apos. Francis Francis (1822-1886) was an English writer who wrote works primarily on the art of fishing.
