Harris, and more. Containing one hundred and twenty illustrations. Enclosed in the original pictorial dust wrapper. This was the personal copy of fishing enthusiast and former Brighton police officer, Jack Reece, noted by his bookplate to the front pastedown. Not only was Reece an avid shark fisherman, he also happened to be head of Brighton's CID at the time of the IRA bombing of the Brighton Grand Hotel in 1984. Reece's police force was responsible for the capture of Patrick Magee, the perpetrator of the bombing, and collection of vital evidence that helped sentence him. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with some light shelf wear and some marks to the front board. Original unclipped dust wrapper is sound, with some light chipping to the head and tail of the back strip and some sunning to the spine. A few small amateur tape repairs to the interior of the wrap.
