Published in 1901, this is the third edition of J.M. Dent's Paradiso of Dante Alighieri. This is the third and final part of Dante's epic Divine Comedy after 'Inferno' and 'Purgatorio&apos. Dante Alighieri was a 13th century Italian poet, writer and philosopher. He is most famous for his Divine Comedy, which paints a picture of the medieval vision of the afterlife, including hell, purgatory, and heaven. It is widely considered to be one of the most celebrated works of Italian literature, and perhaps of all time. This edition is part of the Temple Classics series published by J.M. Dent in the beginning of the nineteenth century.
