Light brown calf panelled with gilt fillet lines surrounding onlay dark brown vegetal morocco border, which encloses central panel with two blindstamped medallions within stylized embossed floral decoration with green outlines and titled on frontcover in onlay white calf in panel above medallions, giltlettered spine with five raised bands, gilt board edges, all edges gilt, contemporary marbled slipcase, (II), 80pp. Ca. 27,5 x 22 cm.Limited edition of 6 and 7-250 copies, numbered on the press; this is number 216, printed on shaped paper of the "firma Van Gelder Zonen Amsterdam" and with the printed stamp of the illustrator and the printer in the first colophon. Each page in violet-brown and green-yellow, the text within margins with every time another decoration, drawn in wood by the artist himself and cut out by Edward Pellens. Printed under the supervision of Hendrik de Marez, after the manuscript from the fourtheenth century, preserved in the "Koninklijke Bibliotheek" at The Hague in the Netherlands and with consultance of the editions by W.J.A.
