Boards and several pages of ads are soiled, chipped and detached but present, spine perished, endpapers lacking, text block is evenly tanned but is otherwise unworn and is complete, map not present. Includes a business directory, street and avenue directory, government listings, organizations and a business directory of Ansonia, Derby, Shelton, Seymour, MIlford, Stratford, Fairfield, Long Hill, Newtown and Southport. There are numerous ads, (some illustrated), plus other relevant and interesting information about Bridgeport and its environs. Poor.

Covers edgeworn and scuffed, partial label removal from lower front cover has left leather abrasion. Contents are mildly age-darkened and one page is edgeworn and a couple of short tears. Folding map is clean but has several tears with archival tape repair. The contents are overall quite sound. Government officials, department reports, municipal statistics. Good/No Jacket.

Book is sound, light wear and slight fading of spine. Laid-in are 3 letters addressed to the book's owner, Alexander William Armour with references to the book about Viscount Knebworth, son of Victor Bulwer-Lytton. Letters are from A.J. Armstrong of Baylor University, Charles Erdman of The Theological Seminary of Princeton, New Jersey, and one letter is unsigned from someone in Greenwich, Connecticut. Two of the three letters are handwritten, and the Erdman lettter is typed and signed and contains a personal note at the end. Contents of the letters are mix of business and personal, mostly of a personal nature. Owner's name and bookplate on front endpapers, another personal handwritten note tipped-in at front. Also laid-in is brochure for the Knebworth House, Herts, the home of Bulwer-Lytton, and the rear panel of the book's dust jacket. A very interesting association copy. Very Good/No Jacket.
