A French guide for children learning the alphabet, illustrated throughout with engraved vignettes by Henri-Désiré Porret. Included are pages on vowels and consonants, capital letters and lower case letters, and examples of French words for every letter of the alphabet. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original pictorial card wraps. Externally sound, with age toning to the wraps, and four small tears to the backstrip.
