Fine-looking, structurally sound set of blue cloth-bound hardcover copies, complete in two volumes, little discernible wear, bright interior, unmarked, with only slight smudging to bottom page edges. Bright blue cloth over boards, sharp and distinct gilt lettering to spine, raised black and gilt decoration (a fruit?) to front covers. A fine a fetching gift inscription (either from the editor, Charles W. Mignon, or his book appraising business partner, Charles (Chuck, "Chic") Goldschmid) at first free endpaper, "for Bob Allen: non potes recipire jovium ventum ex despondente sphincters, from Chuck January 1991" ("you cannot receive Jupiter's wind from your sphincters").
