The title page continues, "containing a complete record of Spanish tyranny and oppression; scenes of violence and bloodshed; frequent uprisings of a gallant and long suffering people; revolutions of 1868, '95-'96 . . . " Bound handsomely in light grayish-brown cloth over boards, light blue, dark blue, gold, black and red lettering and designs to front and rears covers, stamped. Decorated endpapers front and rear. Pasted onto the rear pastedown vertically is a band of gray card stock. Paginated non-consecutively, but replete with news and notes, songs, newspaper accounts, and maps.
