London, Barrie Jenkins. 1973, First Edition. Original Boards. The First Edition Online Bookstore has this very attractive P.G. Wodehouse omnibus book for sale, P.G. Wodehouse the Golf Omnibus. This is the first edition of P.G. Wodehouse The Golf Omnibus which was published in 1973 by Barrie and Jenkins. The original dust jacket has the title of The Golf Omnibus and P.G. Wodehouse that fills the front panel and was designed by Michael Harvey. The spine to The Golf Omnibus has an illustration of a 1920's golfer scratching his head. The back panel of the dust jacket features a large photograph of Mr and Mrs Wodehouse sitting in the garden of their New York home and was taken by Bernard Gotfryd. This glossy dust jacket is in Very Good condition being price clipped, a small crease across the spine, and slight age toning to the edges. This is a very attractive large P.G. Wodehouse dust jacket for a very collectable P.G. Wodehouse omnibus book. The P.G. Wodehouse The Golf Omnibus original green boards with white lettering to the spine are in Near Fine condition with only very slight wear to the top and bottom of the spine. The P.G. Wodehouse The Golf Omnibus has 467 numbered pages that are packed with P.G. Wodehouse Jeeves and Wooster and other short stories and includes P.G. Wodehouse's The Clicking of Cuthbert. The pages are in overall Near Fine condition with a neat handwritten "Happy Christmas 1974" written to the blank front free endpaper. This is a very clean and attractive P.G. Wodehouse The Golf Omnibus book and dust jacket that will make a wonderful addition to any P.G. Wodehouse book collection or to any collection of modern first edition books. Near Fine/Very Good.
