He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1904. In a half morocco binding with cloth to the boards, a signed binding by Bumpus. Externally, smart, though 'Memories' has some marks to the front board. Light rubbing to the spine. A few minor lighter marks to the boards. Some spots to the fore edges. Prior owner's ink inscription to the verso to the front endpapers. Internally, firmly bound.
