Bound volume containing all the weekly issues from July-December 1902 of Science Magazine, the academic journal of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. The journal was founded with support from renowned scientists Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell. This volume includes "Scientific Research: The Art of Revelation and of Prophecy" by engineer R.H. Thurston, "The Group-Velocity and the Wave-Velocity of Light" by D.B. Brace, and a report on The Carnegie Institution by W.J. Holland. Contains the bookplate and pencil name of Dr. E.B. Montgomery, a nuclear physicist who worked on the Chicago Pile-1 reactor as part of the Manhattan Project. Good .
