Robert Graves whose devotion to the 'White Goddess' made his prose into poetry. Many essays and lectures here. A great one on the Jews of Majorca and their journey from Sephardic Spain. This is uncommon collection of Graves at his rascally best. Paul was not really Jewish, as Graves makes pretty clear. First American Edition.
