From chapter II: "Henry Slocum ['Hank'] was as fine a specimen of Yankee manhood as it was possible to find." --- A firm, clean copy but with some rubbing at edges of covers. With rubberstamping on front pastedown and inked presentation remarks on front free endpaper. Library coding in white on spine. Lacks a dust jacket.; Ex-Library; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 346 pages.
