(1891); 9 x 6; cream stock, printed in black; several old, horizontal creases; closed cut to edge of one of the folds and a few small nicks to edges; in good to very good condition. Dated Easter Sunday, March 29, the broadside advertised a performance by leading Italian operatic tenor Italo Campanini (1845 - 1896) and a cast of other celebrated stars, including Devere, Klein, Del Puente, and others. Campanini would reach the height of his career in London in the 1870s and in New York in the 1880s and 1890s. After 1883, he would serve as the Metropolitan's leading tenor. Good .
