New York, Judge Company Publishers, 1906. First Edition. Original color lithograph by Emil Flohri, the cover measures 10" x 13.5". Judge was a weekly satirical magazine published in the United States from 1881 to 1947. It was launched by artists who had seceded from its rival Puck. The founders included cartoonist James Albert Wales, dime novels publisher Frank Tousey and author George H. Jessop. This cover shows a thrown piece of coal at the back of "The Peoples" neck. Very good, a bright image .
