Will ship internationally from the US or Canada. We can offer media and priority shipping to US customers. International shipments that fit within the USPS Global Priority (24 cm x 31.5 cm) with padding will be sent that way at a cost of $12.00 - others at cost. With USPS no longer accepting surface mail, we can send surface using Canada Post at cost.

Shipping to eastern Canada (Ontario & Maritimes) will cost at least $10.00, to western Canada $8.50, within BC $7.00.

US media mail for a standard hardcover book is $3.00, domestic Priority flat rate envelope is $5.00

Wenn Sie mit uns per E-Mail in Kontakt treten, speichern wir Ihre E-Mail zur Bearbeitung der Anfrage sowie für den Fall, dass Anschlussfragen entstehen. Weitere personenbezogene Daten speichern wir nur, wenn Sie uns ausdrücklich den Auftrag erteilen, bei uns als Kunde registriert zu werden, um Angebote von uns zu erhalten. Sobald Sie bei uns einen Artikel kaufen, ist die Angabe Ihres Namens, Ihrer Anschrift, möglicherweise Ihrer E-Mail-Adresse oder Ihres Telefons notwendig. Ferner wird das von Ihnen gewünschte Sachgebiet gespeichert. Weiter erfassen wir die von Ihnen gewünschte Zahlungsart, bei Angabe der Kreditkarte speichern wir die Art der Kreditkarte und vier Stelle der 16-stelligen Kartennummern. Der Rest der Kreditkarteninformation wird nicht gespeichert.
Wollen Sie bei uns einen Artikel verkaufen, kommt es also zu einem Ankauf unsererseits, speichern wir bei höheren Ankaufbeträgen Ihren Namen, Ihre Adresse, möglicherweise auch Ihre E-Mail-Adresse und den bezahlen Betrag. Dies ist notwendig für die Provenienz und die Festlegung für unseren Verkaufspreis. Bei Anfragen nach der Provenienz wird Ihr Name nicht weitergegeben. Wir erteilen lediglich die Auskunft „aus Privat“, „aus einer Bibliothek“ usw. Bei strafrechtlichen Untersuchungen behalten wir uns jedoch vor, Ihre personenbezogenen Daten weiterzugeben. Die Speicherung dieser Daten ist auch aus steuerrechtlichen/finanzrechtlichen Gründen notwendig.
Gerne beliefern wir unsere Kunden mit unseren Katalogen via Postversand oder auch E-Mailversand. Dazu brauchen wir Ihren Namen, Ihre Adresse und Ihre E-Mail-Adresse. Um unsere Kunden auch über Neueingänge betreffend des gesuchten Sachgebietes zu informieren, speichern wir auch das gesuchte Sammelgebiet eines Kunden. Wir nutzen diese Daten, um unser Dienstleistungsangebot bedarfsgerecht zu gestalten und ständig zu verbessern.
Weitergabe Ihrer Daten
Wir geben Ihre personenbezogenen Daten grundsätzlich nicht an Dritte weiter.
Eine Ausnahme stellt der Versand unserer Kataloge dar, da diese direkt durch unsere beauftragtes Druckunternehmen an Sie versandt werden. Hierzu werden dem Druckunternehmen Ihr Name und Ihre Anschrift mitgeteilt. Unser Druckunternehmen gewährleistet ebenso einen effektiven Datenschutz. Bei E-Mail-Versand der Kataloge wird lediglich Ihre E-Mail benutzt.
Weitere Ausnahmen stellen Gründe dar, wie beispielsweise Nichtbezahlung einer Rechnung, wo wir Ihre Daten an ein Eintreibungsinstitut weitergeben. Weitere Ausnahmen können Untersuchungen der Behörden sein.
Ihre kreditkartenspezifischen Daten werden an das Kreditkarteninstitut weitergegeben (nie per E-mail), damit dieses die von Ihnen in Auftrag gegebene Bezahlung durchführen kann.
Speicherdauer / Recht auf Löschung der Daten
Sofern Ihr Wunsch nicht mit einer gesetzlichen Pflicht zur Aufbewahrung von Daten kollidiert, haben Sie ein Anrecht auf Löschung Ihrer Daten. Von uns gespeicherte Daten werden, sollten sie für ihre Zweckbestimmung nicht mehr vonnöten sein und es keine gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungsfristen geben, gelöscht. Falls eine Löschung nicht durchgeführt werden kann, da die Daten für zulässige gesetzliche Zwecke erforderlich sind, erfolgt eine Einschränkung der Datenverarbeitung. In diesem Fall werden die Daten gesperrt und nicht für andere Zwecke benutzt.
Recht, gespeicherte Daten einzusehen / Änderung von Daten / Anfragen der Nutzung
Sie können jederzeit anfragen, welche Daten von Ihnen bei uns gespeichert sind. Ebenso können Sie uns jederzeit Änderungen Ihrer Daten mitteilen. Auch können Sie jederzeit anfragen, wie Ihre Daten bei uns genutzt werden.
Zusendung von Katalogen per Post und per E-mail:
Sie können uns jederzeit auffordern, die Zusendung von Katalogen per Post oder per E-Mail einzustellen. Dies können Sie uns an harteveld@bluewin.ch mitteilen. Wir werden dann sofort weitere Katalogversande einstellen.
Wie sicher sind Ihre Daten bei uns?
Zur Sicherung Ihrer Daten unterhalten wir technische- und organisatorische Sicherungsmassnahmen (unter anderem Passwörter), die wir immer wieder dem Stand der Technik anpassen. Der von uns verwendete Server wird regelmässig sorgfältig gesichert. Wir weisen Sie darauf hin, dass die Datenübertragung im Internet (z. B. bei der Kommunikation per E-Mail) Sicherheitslücken aufweisen kann. Ein lückenloser Schutz der Daten vor dem Zugriff durch Dritte ist nicht möglich.
Bei der Bestätigung einer Bestellung streichen wir die Angaben bezüglich Ihrer Kreditkarte. Selbstverständlich müssen wir aber dem zuständigen Kreditkartenunternehmen die vollständigen Kreditkartennummer übertragen, dies geschieht jedoch nicht mit den elektronischen Medien.

Shipping costs are a minimum only, based on books weighing 1 KG or less. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know if extra shipping is required.

Orders for books weighing less than 1 kg will generally be processed on receiving your order. For heavier items we will contact you for your agreement to delivery charges before processing your order. Multiple orders are packaged to minimise delivery charges where possible.
Your agreement to a charge for additional insurance may be sought on purchases of higher value or if the order is to be delivered to a different address other than the ordering address.

Returns on books that are not as described are made if returned within 14 days of receipt. It is essential that customers e-mail or phone us to discuss the return prior to the return being posted. Returns on books that are as descibed but on receipt are not wanted by the customer may be allowed, contact us as soon as possible if you wish to return on this basis, the buyer will be responsible for the costs of returning the item(s).

These rates are based on an average-sized book. If your book is larger or heavier than average, we will email you with a postage quote, before filling your order.

US, and overseas surface mail, orders are couriered over the border every other week for shipment via USPS. Despite a possible delay in dispatch, this method is usually quicker, and always cheaper, than Canada Post. If you require immediate dispatch, please contact us and we can quote options.

We will hold your title(s) for 7 days upon request.
Books from our inventory are returnable for any reason within 7 days of receipt with prior notice. Those books that we obtain from other dealers as part of a book search may or may not be returnable, depending on the policy of the other dealers.

Books listed are "hardback" unless "paperback" is specified. If books have a dustjacket it will be listed with its condition with the condition of the book itself. If there are questions about the condition of a book, feel free to inquire.

Send check/money order with order (US$ please), or call/fax/e-mail with credit card information. We also take PayPal payments.
Shipping in US via USPS media mail is US$4.00 for the first title, US$1.50 each additional title. Priority USPS US$6.00 first title, US$1.50 additional titles. International shipping individually priced. Maine residents add 5% sales tax, or provide sales tax number.

New customers are requested to remit payment upon receipt of a pro forma invoice prior to shipment. Books may be returned within fourteen days of receipt after our confirmation. Safe return shipment is the buyer's responsibility. All transactions are made under Swedish law.
