The history of banks in the north, such as Kendal, Ulverston, Halifax, Mirfield, Dewsbury, Carlisle, Bury, Preston, Alnwick, & Manchester. 608 pages including index, with 15 colour and 95 b.& w. photographs, engravings, pictures & maps. Near fine binding. Black d./w. is near fine except for slight wear at top & bottom of spine, and along edges.
