Woodcut portrait of Dickens, by Bobbett, as frontis. Woodcut border to t.p. after Marcus Stone's Parts issue wrapper graphics. 34 intratextual cuts after Stone. Royal 8vo. 10-3/8" x 6-1/2". A VG+ copy (spine sunned, as usual with this volume/period pos to ffep & preliminary blank). This volume edition curiously bound with 2 less illustrations than that found in the Harper Magazine issue, though without a side-by-side comparison, it is difficult to determine which were omitted by the publisher, not to mention 'why?'.
