Neatly rebacked. Cover rubbed. Heraldic book-plate on paste-down. Some neat marginalia in an early hand [dated 1775 on page 71], and a signature on title page. Damp staining to initial and final leaves with no impact on text. Illustrations bright .

Postage and packing is charged at cost and is in addition to the quoted price.
Any order is subject to our normal terms of business, whereby title to any goods does not transfer from the seller until payment is received in full, and is made under English law.

Return policy;
We run a 'no quibble' returns policy.
If we have made any error of collation or missed any significant flaw, or if we have failed to describe the condition honestly and accurately, we refund the cost of the book in full, plus the cost of outward shipping, plus the cost of your return shipping.
If you wish to return a book for any other reason, We refund the cost of the book, less a £5 handling charge. The cost of outward shipping is not refunded. The return shipping, and insurance, is at your expense.
In all cases, the returned book must be in our hands within one calendar month of the original sale, though exceptions can be made to this rule in special cases.
Any new damage suffered by the book will be charged pro-rata.
