Bound in full period calf, panelled boards, raised bands. Calf rubbed, worn, with loss on head and tail of spine, hinge joints split, but boards still attached. Generally a good binding. Internally, lacking free endpaper, folding plates have short tears or worn on margins, oocasionally encroaching onto engraved area. Pages and plates in good condition. A good copy. Near Very Good.
