The binding is designed by Elek Falus, renowned for his book covers in art nouveau style. Second edition of Lengyel's famous drama Typhoon, first published in 1909. Menyhért Mengyel (1880-1974) was a Hungarian writer, dramatist and film screenwriter. He wrote the libretto for Béla Bartok's The Magic Mandarin and later while living in Hollywood he wrote successful film scripts. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Writing with Ninotchka (1939). In the 1960s he moved to Italy where he received the Great Award of Rome for his literary work.
