Codex Nasaraeus, also called Ginza Rba and sometimes The Book of Adam, is the canonical prayer book of the Mandaeans. It is a compilation of various oral teachings and written texts and includes literature on a wide variety of topics: liturgy and hymns, theological texts, as well as both religious and secular poetry. It was originally written in Mandaic script which is a local variant of the Aramaic language. Norberg published the Codex in Syriac characters together with a Latin translation.
