A rare, small guide treating the Wolof language, the most common language spoken in Senegal, but also spoken in the Gambia and Mauritania. It's mainly an oral language and therefore there are many different variants of spelling. This guide includes a dictionary, a small treatise on conjugation and a selection of basic phrases. It was printed at the mission of St. Joseph Ngazobil, south of Dakar. Not in Vater.
