In full polished calf leather binding, red and brown leather spine labels lettered in gilt, raised banding, plain endpapers, speckled page edges, gilt board edges. In very good condition. Professional repair to spine, corners bumped with a couple of small chips, edges rubbed, some small marks to boards. Glue repair to inside front hinge. Bookplate and neat inscription to front endpaper “Doctors Commons 1828.” Some slight darkening to title page and opposite where silk pagemark has been laid. A couple of small minor foxing spots else a very clean and tight copy. 320PP + viii + index.
