First edition, published as a supplement to "Magyar Iparmvszet" (vol. 12). An epic poem about Attila the Hun, the dreadful ruler of the Huns from 434 until his death in 453. It is believed that the Huns are the ancestors of the Hungarians and the Transylvanian Szkelys. The charming and expressive illustrations are drawn in Ks' unique Art Nouveau style. Kroly Ks (1883-1977) was a Hungarian architect but also a writer, politician, artist, etc. and is famous for his unique Transylvanian Art Nouveau style influenced by the Vienna Session and Art Nouveau. This is his first book.
