Lugduni Batavorum [Leiden], Ex Officina Hackiana. 1673. Vellum. 8vo. (4 blank), (1 Frontispiece), (1 blank), 756, (124 Index) pp. Vellum. Volume Two [of two volumes] containing Liber Quintus (V), Liber Sextus (VI), and Index of this famous work by the Italian humanist, Alessandro Alessandri (1461-1523). Alessandri was a lawyer during the Renaissance who later distanced himself from his profession due to his disillusionment with governmental corruption, and turned to the study of the subjects of this work: philology, antiquities and folk law.
