Books are posted only after payment is received. Please say if you prefer insured post. Postage in UK is by 1st class, overseas is by surface unless airmail is requested. I post to most places in the world.
I accept the following methods of payment, cheques in £sterling, UK postal orders, IBAN, cash if sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed (or your own country's insured & signed-for post), PayPal, plus credit cards via PayPal. Please note cheques should be made to G. Barnes-Lawrence.
I aim to please! I describe every fault, tiny tear & blemish in a book, because I would like the customer to be pleased & content with their purchase. Some have been surprised that their book is actually better than they thought it would be! I scan most books, & if requested can send more. If a customer finds a book ordered from me is not as described, then within 14 days he can return it for a full refund, but only if I consider its in the same condition as when I posted it. He must have proof of posting, & should also notify me first.
