Crocker (13 January 1861 – 25 September 1937), an American banker, the president of Crocker National Bank and a prominent member of the Republican Party. Helen Jackson (Maria Fiske) was born in 1830 and lived 55 years, reared in her native Amherst, Massachusetts, and was born in the same year as her dear friend Emily Dickinson, who became the model for her anonymously penned novel Mercy Philbrick's Choice's heroine. She married E.B. Hunt in 1852 and then began to write under the name "H.H." Once widowed, she later remarried,to Will S. Jackson of Colorado, in 1875. She is most famous for Ramona, about the plight of Native Americans.
